House Concerts

For music lovers and their friends, there’s nothing more magical than an evening of great music where the artist is “up close and personal.”  Imagine 25-35 people gathered in a cozy living room where the singer doesn’t even need a sound system; a concert where you can hear every word clearly and almost feel the strumming of the guitar; and the opportunity to talk personally to the songwriter about her music.

House concerts (or concerts staged by an individual in other alternate settings such as subdivision clubhouses, meeting halls, churches, etc.) are a great way to bring together people who love acoustic music and your favorite performing songwriters.

All you need is space to hold about 25-35 people (sitting in chairs, on pillows, on the floor, wherever you'd like) and a way to get the word out to friends and acquaintances.  They're really pretty easy to organize and probably the most intimate way to hear a great show.  (Remember those great tales you've heard about someone seeing Billy Joel at a college auditorium when there were only 25 people in the room?  Well, now you can create your own experiences like that!)
