I heard Sheri perform in a coffeehouse venue during the time we were beginning our search for a keynote speaker for our annual kaleidoscope convention. Sheri’s songs were powerful and really spoke to me. Sheri spent a lot of time researching kaleidoscopes and talking with kaleidoscope artists to develop her presentation. Her songs spoke to life’s journey using kaleidoscopes as a metaphor. You would have thought she wrote her songs just for this presentation. As we are searching for this year’s keynote speaker, I can’t help but wish we could have Sheri come back again.
~ Sherry Moser, President, Brewster Kaleidoscope Society

I thoroughly enjoyed your Saturday keynote presentation what a force!
~ Brewster Society Conference Attendee

Our congregation enjoyed your music, especially the peaceful feeling you communicated.  Even more, I appreciated your theology – a proclamation of grace.  As you sang of rest and peace, so you created an atmosphere of sabbath and renewal.  Your music gave witness to the loving kindness of our God. Thanks again for your good ministry.  We are better because of it.
~ Rev. Rick Sebastian, Zion Lutheran, Guyton, GA

Sheri's message is inspiring for those who are seeking their true journey and even those solidly on it.  Her uplifting spirit and earnest music are scrumptious food for the soul.

I just wanted to thank you for your performance on Friday. I got absolutely nothing but positive feedback from everyone I talked to....seriously.

Sheri has performed at The Listening Room @ Dreamcatcher Guitars on three occasions. Her performances are always upbeat and engaging. She performs with confidence and engages the audience with interesting stories about the songs she has written. Her presentations are always professional and uplifting.  I would highly recommend Sheri as a performer and workshop leader."
~ Eddie Mathis, Dreamcatcher Guitars

Sheri's music is rich in meaningful metaphor which connects the listener with spirit and soul.  Her songs' lyrics and rich images leave one feeling understood, and satisfied.
~ Dr. Jerry R. Wright, Jungian analyst

What a treat to hear your music!  It is rich and powerful, capable of moving people to action and tears.  There were so many people who spoke to me of their appreciation for your music.  Thank you for taking the time to share with us your multiple gifts.  I heard great things about your workshop.  It is wonderful to have you as a friend of Mary & Martha’s Place.  We look forward to future collaboration.
~ Rebecca Parker, Program Developer, Mary & Martha’s Place, St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church, Atlanta, GA

Sheri has an engaging voice, polished guitar skills, and is a mature songwriter. But what really shines is that she sings right from the heart.

Your presentation at ACRS was spectacular, healing us with your lyrics and powerful voice!  Your guitar accompaniment was equally impressive. We look forward to hearing more of your original work and experiencing more of your talents, including workshops and music.
~ Penelope Williams, former Music Director, Atlanta Church of Religious Science

What wonderful comments we received on both your musical/vocal talent and the warm and touching message you delivered to us in our recent Sunday morning service. Even weeks later, I still am hearing kudos on bringing you to our people. I did good! And you should know that I personally enjoyed your inspirational style immensely. Your message fit in so well with what we teach at Unity and your songs did the same. I would heartily recommend you to any other Unity ministry! We appreciate your making it so easy for us to have you perform here. Your requirements were minimal and that made it smooth for our technicians and me in setting up.
~ Rev. Kent Lederer, Unity of Savannah, GA

It was our pleasure to have you in our midst at Kihei Lutheran Church. I really enjoyed meeting you as well as hearing you in person. You truly were a blessing to us. I’m still hearing good comments from a number of people. If you ever do get back in this direction, be sure to let me know. Until then, may God be with and bless you richly in your ministry!
~ Rev. Dave Krueger, Kihei Lutheran Church, Kihei (Maui), Hawaii

I have been a big Sheri Kling fan for more than a decade and was delighted to present her as the featured performer at Moonsongs Coffeehouse several times during the four years we were in operation. Sheri’s lyrics are as rich as her striking contralto and as full of energy as her dynamic guitar playing. Whenever Sheri performs, she captures the audience immediately with her uplifting songs and engaging personality. Whether she is singing of her gratitude for a gift received long ago ("I Heard Colors"), newly awakened insight ("Thunder and Lightning"), or the hope that we all will find deeper meaning in our working lives ("Working With Beauty"), Sheri’s music inspires as well as entertains. It is always a joy to listen to her!

Sheri Kling is a charismatic performer and presenter and her presentation on the archetypal hero and the creative writing process was well received. I really cannot say enough about Sheri. My students still sing “Train to Metaphor” anytime we speak of symbolism in class. They loved her visit and the assignment that followed. Sheri even inspired me to write and share my creative piece with my students. I highly recommend Sheri Kling as a guest speaker to any English or Humanities classroom. Her presentation is one students will remember for years.
