Vision

Doug, CEO of a software company, and the executive team were ready to release an internal video with a disastrous post-layoff message sure to undercut morale.

Sheri stepped in to shift the narrative in a more positive and helpful direction, closing the vision gap between employees and executives, and boosting alignment to mission.

Organization

The Sales Team of a large outboard motor company was reluctant to use a corporate-crafted PPT slide deck in their meetings with customers.

Sheri quickly understood the bigger picture, earned the sales team’s trust, and generated the enthusiasm for more sales wins and improved customer outcomes.

Execution

The Provost’s Office was tasked with creating a five-year strategic plan for a health sciences university with nine colleges (and nine deans).

Sheri managed the process from start to finish and crafted a plan document in the founding president’s voice that exceeded expectations and sparked a creative wave of new strategic initiatives for non-tuition revenue generation.

“Sheri was a pleasure to work with.  She helps you find the authentic you and helped me realize and better appreciate how to articulate all the many skills I had developed throughout the years.”

“Sheri has a rich backstory as a communications professional. As her client you’ll get every single bit of that no matter what you hire her to do for you. I use Sheri to help with clarity (editing, proofing, copy origination) and to offer up different points of view on consulting deliverables. Her high-empathy way of understanding the world makes her a natural at this. Every time, she makes what she gets from us better, stronger, tighter, and more specific. As someone who appreciates written communications, I appreciate every opportunity I get to work with Sheri!”

“In her role as executive director of the Beecken Center, Sheri exhibited a deep capacity for both strategic vision and execution. She’s a gifted creative thinker, and I trust and appreciate her for her integrity, her wisdom, and her finely honed ability to understand both the bigger picture and the complex moving parts of an organization and its people.”

Why I’m called a “Visioneer.”

Visioneers are human pioneers who help others create the best vision and version of themselves in their personal and professional lives. Visioneers actualize excellence. My approach to this mission is two-fold:

1. I’m building a platform for transformation – a company that creates media and educational resources to transform human experience based on three principles that I’ve found in work, in my personal life, and in my study of some of the greatest thinkers of the ages.

2. I offer services centered around Vision, Organization, and Execution to business, non-profit, and higher education executives who want to have a positive impact on their organizations and beyond. Specifically, I help leaders create the clarity for developing your new strategies and then achieve the steps and build the relationships necessary to move your organization from today’s reality to tomorrow’s future state.
